Dr Gaofeng Ni (Postdoctoral Research Fellow, AWMC) with his Microbial Ecology 2.0 in form of a journal club, featuring a publication in Nature microbiology in July this year. If you’re interested in questions such as:

  • Do WWTPs in the world share a common core microbiome?
  • Is microbial diversity important for function in activated sludge process?
  • What factors decide the composition, distribution and functions of microbiomes in activated sludge?
